President Edwards shares a moment with President Biden at the 2022 AFL-CIO Convention as Liz Shuler and Fred Redmond are elected President and Secretary-Treasurer

President Edwards joined the 2022 AFL-CIO Convention is Philadelphia where she was able to share a moment with President Biden and Delegates from all across the country.  Former AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Liz Shuler was officially elected to serve as President of the AFL-CIO, the federation of 57 unions and 12.5 million members. She is the first woman to hold the office in the history of the labor federation. Delegates also elected Fred Redmond to serve as Secretary-Treasurer; he is the first African American to hold the office.
